Introducing the ultimate Newtonian telescope for astrophotography: precision meets innovation
(The ZWO EAF is optionally available)
Welcome to a new era of sky observation and astrophotography. The Newtonian telescope, newly assembled by the telescope specialists, especially for demanding astrophotographers, sets new standards in terms of image quality and user-friendliness. With a careful selection of the best components on the market, we offer a complete system that leaves nothing to be desired and takes astronomical ambitions to a new level.
This Newtonian telescope combines very good optics with precise and stable focusing to capture breathtaking images of galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. Each component has been carefully selected and tested to ensure maximum performance and durability. From high-quality mirrors with excellent reflection to a robust and user-friendly focusing unit - every detail contributes to ensuring that you can take the best possible pictures.
The components:
Skywatcher Newton Quattro 150P
Baader Diamond Steeltrack focuser
(optional ZWO EAF motor (on request Touptek AAF, Pegasus FocusCube2 or FocusCube3))
CNC secondary mirror spider with additional anti-reflective paint
Light protection unit for the Baader Diamond Steeltrack focuser
optional adapter for the focusing motor
Aperture ring for the main seal
The telescope specialists build the Newton NT150Q-02 completely and of course collimate it before you receive it.
We selected the components as follows:
Skywatcher Quattro 150P:
With an aperture ratio of f/4, the Quattro 150P with coma corrector f/3.45 offers a very fast system that enables shorter exposure times.
Despite its performance, the Quattro 150P is relatively light and portable, making it ideal for transport to different observation locations.
The design of the Quattro 150P enables easy and precise collimation of the optics
The quality of the primary mirror convinced us and is simply top in its price range.
The Baader Diamond Steeltrack is an outstanding eyepiece focuser that was specially developed for demanding applications in astronomy and astrophotography:
The Diamond Steeltrack offers extremely precise and stable focusing. This is particularly important for astrophotographers who use long exposure times and high magnifications, where even the smallest movements or instabilities can lead to blurred images.
The unique Diamond Steeltrack uses diamond-coated guide rollers that enable very smooth and precise movement. This reduces wear and ensures long-lasting, consistently high performance.
With a load capacity of up to 6 kg, the Diamond Steeltrack can hold heavy cameras and accessories without flexing or bending. This is especially important for astrophotographers who often work with heavy CCD cameras and accessories.
The focuser offers a large adjustment range and a 1:10 reduction for fine focusing, which enables very precise adjustment of the focus. This is crucial for finding the optimal focus plane.
The Diamond Steeltrack is available with various adapters and can be adapted to a wide range of telescopes. This makes it flexible and compatible with different optical systems.
Despite its advanced technology, the Diamond Steeltrack is easy to use, which makes it attractive even for less experienced users who have high demands on their equipment.
The CNC secondary mirror spider
is also coated with an anti-reflective varnish
significantly better star image
much more pleasant collimation than with the standard secondary mirror spider
the collimation remains stable for longer
can be used as a Bahtinow mask
(The ZWO EAF is optionally available)
Light protection unit
printed with the 3D printer from TPE (rubber material) to prevent stray light from entering the eyepiece focuser
was only printed in white for the photos; in the series it is black
Aperture ring for the main mirror
3D printed for the main mirror in order to be able to use as much of the mirror diameter as possible
coated with anti-reflective varnish
significantly improves the star image
