A large mirror paired with short focal length allow you to observe a wide variety of objects in the night sky. With this very bright large field telescope, all extended objects like star clusters and galaxies can be observed especially well. But also moon and planets are shown in great detail. Due to the short focal length, the tube length is kept short and therefore the instrument is still very portable. But also the mechanics of the BRESSER Pollux is very powerful. The high quality equatorial mount allows every user to align the telescope perfectly in no time. Standard on a Newtonian reflector telescope is the eyepiece focuser located on the side tube. This offers absolute convenience when observing with one of the included eyepieces. Explore the planets of our solar system and discover new worlds. 

With the included smartphone camera adapter, you can photograph your best observations right through the telescope.

The BRESSER Pollux is also equipped with a large 2.0'' focuser, allowing the use of 2.0'' eyepieces with even larger fields of view. Of course, the included 2.0'' to 1.25'' eyepiece adapter allows the use of all 1.25'' eyepieces. 

BRESSER has not skimped and equipped the Pollux with a high-quality parabolic primary mirror. This offers a much better image sharpness and contrast than a comparable telescope with a simple spherical mirror. In addition, this telescope has a particularly large 55mm secondary mirror for ideal illumination of the image field.

Please note that Newtonian-type reflecting telescopes are very good for astronomical observations of the night sky, but not well suited for daytime nature and landscape observations. Therefore, we recommend BRESSER lens telescopes for nature and landscape observations.
 
NOTE: If you want automatic tracking of the stars, the telescope mount can also be retrofitted with the optional motor set Art. 4951400.
