Celestron Advanced VX C6 Newtonian telescope on Goto mount
Celestron Advanced VX C6 Newton Goto telescope The quite popular 6 "Newtonian is also available on the stable, computer-controlled Advanced-VX mount. The C6 Newtonian has a diffraction-limited parabolic primary mirror, which images sharp stars over a large image field. The optics are manufactured and manufactured according to Celestron's high quality standards provides star images that correspond to the Airy discs from the textbook.
State-of-the-art technology for mobile use
Celestron Advanced VX mounts set a new standard for medium-sized telescopes up to approx. 15 kg. The mount was developed from scratch, always with astrophotography in mind. It offers many properties of the large Celestron mounts at a very attractive price - and the axle cross weighs only 7.7 kg!
Solid cast parts and heavy-duty mechanics
Based on the tried-and-tested Advanced GT mount, the Advanced VX not only offers large, handy adjusting screws and stronger motors that can cope even better with an unevenly distributed load, but also a wider base for tripod connection and an improved dovetail mount with two clamping screws. No turning around prematurely! The tracking is possible up to 20 ° beyond the meridian passage.
State-of-the-art software
The AVX mount is supplied with the cold-resistant, much more powerful NexStar + hand controller. So you have a modern computer control at your disposal - with over 40,000 objects and German menu navigation. Thanks to the built-in clock, commissioning is even faster than before. The software moves to the reference stars automatically, you just have to center them in the eyepiece. Even the sun can serve as a reference object.
Northing made easy
With the AVX, you no longer have to laboriously set the Polarstern using the polar finder: Align the mount roughly to the north, carry out a 2-star alignment - and then call up the All-Star-Polar-Alignment. The software now helps you to position the mount precisely, even if you cannot see the Polarstern. You look comfortably through the telescope and do not have to kneel under the (optionally still available) polar finder.
Versatile to expand
In addition to an RS232 connection, the AVX also has an autoguider input and two AUX connections. Here you can connect additional, separately available expansion modules - for example the SkyQ Link module for control via WLAN with iPhone / iPad / Windows PC or the StarSense module, with which the mount automatically moves to your reference stars and centers them perfectly.
Experienced photographers will appreciate how easily this mount can be transported to a dark observation area. If you are new to astronomy or astrophotography, the Advanced VX will help you get started and can serve you well for many years to come.
Detailed information:
- 6 ”(150mm) f / 5 Newton for excellent imaging and large image fields - Parabolic primary mirror minimizes spherical aberration and enables better image quality - Integer gear ratio and permanently programmable worm error correction prevent recurring tracking errors from the worm gear - New motors offer better tracking and deliver more power to compensate for uneven load distribution - New design for improved stability and rigidity - No "meridian flip" - the new design means that the meridian passage does not have to be swung over so that the motor housing does not hit the mount. - Autoguider connection for astrophotography - Can be used on latitudes between 7 ° and 77 ° - Improved electronics with larger memory for future expansion - NexStar + hand controller with five languages (German, English, French, Italian, Spanish)
