Test and Adjustment Skywatcher Telescope Explorer-150P NEQ-3 Pro GoTo 150 / 750mm The Skywatcher Explorer 150P Newton is checked and adjusted by us before delivery. The focuser is set.
All Newtonian telescopes should be adjusted before first use and then periodically for a clear image. We adjust all of our Newton before they leave our house.

Skywatcher Telescope 150mm 750mm Explorer-150P NEQ-3 Pro SynScan GoTo Mount
The optics N 150/750: This versatile Newton reflector telescope offers the beginner and the advanced observer lots of light and high stability for little money. With its stately diameter of 150mm, it collects so much light that distant DeepSky objects such as the Ring Nebula in the lyre or the dumbbell nebulae become beautifully visible, globular clusters like M13 can be resolved into numerous single stars on the edge. The planetary observation offers detailed images of Saturn, Jupiter, Venus and Mars. The optic has an aperture ratio of f / 5. So this telescope belongs to the class of fast Newton telescopes. Photographically, this look is particularly well suited. The light collection capacity is about 460 times greater than the naked eye at 7mm exit pupil.
The advantages at a glance:
Relatively high light intensity thanks to 150mm opening Low-vibration and wind-resistant due to compact design Diffraction-limited parabolic main mirror Contrasting illustration through thin Fangspiegelstreben Easy to transport and set up quickly Due to the short focal length in astrophotography, the exposure times are kept short The mount NEQ-3 Pro Goto:
The EQ-3 has been further developed into the NEQ-3 and is a rock solid base for your telescope. It provides easy work when using the telescope. An approximate orientation to the north is sufficient and you can easily track the object by means of the fine movement of an axle. At high magnification, keeping your target in the center of the field of vision is no problem.
The advantages of the NEQ-3:
- Precise processing allows accurate tracking - The quick release for quick installation of the telescope - An exact classification of the NEQ3 for astrophotography It provides a solid foundation for most mid-sized optics and is well suited for beautiful night sky walks. The pole height of the observation site can be adjusted via a fine scale and perfectly fixed with two screws. A Polsucher can be retrofitted as an option. Fully equipped with motors in both axes and SynScan hand control box, you get a complete GoTo mount: The NEQ-3 is not only suitable for visual observation, but also for the entry into astrophotography. With a little practice succeed in pictures of fog objects and galaxies. Moon and planetary shots will make you fast and be just as successful!
Scope of delivery of the mount:
Mount NEQ-3 Pro GoTo SynScan hand control box coordinated counterweights aluminum tripod additionally stabilizing expansion element with eyepiece shelf
This device is very suitable for school astronomy.
