particularly powerful for lunar and planetary observation
A very good look for beginners and a must for longtime amateur astronomers! This Newton telescope collects with its stately diameter of 150mm so much light that deep-sky distant objects such. the ring-nebula in the lyre or the dumbbell nebula are beautifully visible, globular clusters like M13 can be resolved into numerous single stars at the edge.

This device is mainly a lunar and planetary device. The parabolic mirror is diffraction-limited and gives a very sharp and high-contrast image. Unlike the short focal length telescopes, the secondary mirror is small. This enables a picture quality that outshines that of an achromatic refractor with the same aperture ratio.
This special Newton gives a bright picture with many details on the moon and planets. Due to the longer focal length, unlike other Newton's, you can achieve a higher magnification with the usual eyepieces, which shows more Deatils and yet remains rich in contrast. Cloud bands of Jupiter, the Ring of Saturn or the polar ice caps of Mars are a treat. Fine structures on the moon will inspire you.
This is unique in this category and there is no competition known to us for this telescope.

This Newton is a classic system without a built-in field lens. The main mirror is parabolic. It also has a central mark for easier adjustment.
The secondary mirror is minimized and has almost no disturbing effect. Even the Fangspiegel aspirations are as narrow as possible. The result is an image of the moon and planets that is superior to the image of a typical 6 "f / 8 fraunhofer.

The EQ-3 has been further developed into the NEQ-3 and is a rock solid base for your telescope. It provides easy work when using the telescope. An approximate orientation to the north is sufficient and you can easily track the object by means of the fine movement of an axle. At high magnification, keeping your target in the center of the field of vision is no problem.
