Test und Justage Skywatcher Teleskop Explorer-200P HEQ-5 Pro GoTo

The Skywatcher Explorer 200P Newton is checked and adjusted by us before delivery. The focuser is set.

All Newtonian telescopes should be adjusted before first use and then periodically for a clear image. We adjust all of our Newton before they leave our house.

How we adjust: About us

These telescopes are shipped free of charge in Germany.

Skywatcher Telescope Explorer-200P 200mm 1000mm f / 5 Newton on HEQ-5 Pro SynScan GoTo Mount

The Optics Skywatcher N 200/1000:
With 200mm opening, the observer will be able to see far more details in deep sky observation than with smaller telescopes. With 78% more light collection capability over a 150mm telescope, even the delicate spiral arms of many galaxies and more structures in other mists can be observed. Even globular clusters such as the famous M13 in Hercules can be clearly resolved into single stars at the edge. The main parabolic mirror is diffraction-limited and allows sharp images. The very high-contrast appearance is optimized by a small secondary mirror and thin Fangspiegelstreben. Therefore, sharp and bright planetary observations are possible at higher magnification.

Basics:

There are not only alternators in the car! :-)
Newton telescopes are considered (and are) basically high-powered telescopes. From f / 5 I define again as particularly bright. When observing the moon, we definitely recommend a filter to reduce the glare effect. - The moon reflects so much light that the light should be attenuated (especially at low magnification). Also note the dark adaptation of the eye. For example, if I want to observe deep sky objects after the moon, the adaptation of the eye takes a certain amount of time before I can perceive the much fainter ones again in detail.
And that brings us to the objects that such a Newton can show in abundance - visually and photographically!
Deep sky objects (ie galaxies, nebulae, star clusters ...) do not require a high magnification, but a corresponding light gathering power. For photography, this also means the shortest possible exposure time for a shot.
Planets (and moon) require a higher magnification and thus a Barlow lens ???? for focal length extension.
So with this device also beautiful details on the moon and planets can be seen! So you do not have to do without this field of application:
An (almost) all-rounder among the telescopes focusing on deep sky.

The tube features a solid 2 inch Crayford excerpt for low-fidelity focusing, which is particularly important at high magnifications and in astrophotography. By using 2 inch eyepieces, the maximum possible field of view can be exploited.

2 "eyepieces give a beautiful impression of the celestial objects - especially with a large field of vision, nebulae and galaxies appear in a wide environment, which is particularly appealing because the objects in the room" float. "If you have less field of view, you can also see the details of the celestial objects However, the three-dimensional effect is less pronounced than the larger field of view, and in the case of planets this is also relevant to Jupiter because the constellation of Jupiter's moons is more beautiful in relation to the planet to a change of the constellation after some observation time.
Details on Jupiter itself (cloud bands, large red spot) are in a 1 1/4 "eyepiece but then again equivalent in the impression - or recommended for short-focal eyepieces also here the spatial environment is no longer relevant.

The optic has an aperture ratio of f / 5. So this telescope belongs to the class of fast Newton telescopes. Photographically, this look is particularly well suited.
Also, the 9x50 viewfinder is considered a plus, because through the large opening you can see already objects that are not visible to the naked eye. Even externally, the look is a real gem: It impresses with an elegant design of the extra class, tube and finderscope shimmer in an aesthetic black tone.
Skywatcher Telescope Explorer-200P HEQ-5 Pro GoTo
The advantages at a glance:

High light intensity thanks to 200mm opening
Low-vibration and wind-resistant
Diffraction-limited parabolic main mirror
Contrasting illustration through thin Fangspiegelstreben and small catch mirror
good suitability for astrophotography due to its bright optics
Scope of delivery of the optics:

optical tube with 200mm aperture and 1000mm focal length
2 inches Crayford extract
Eyepieces 25mm and 10mm (1.25 ")
Barlow Lens 2x (1.25 ")
9x50 viewfinder
Prism rail for fast mounting of the optics
The Mount HEQ-5 Pro GoTo:

The high-quality parallactic mount HEQ-5 Pro GoTo turns your telescope into a precision instrument for exciting and fascinating sky observations. The extensive features of the HEQ-5 Pro GoTo include a pole finder that allows you to effortlessly position the telescope in the correct position, aluminum right ascension and declination scales, and electric tracking motors for both axes. So you just have to align the parallactic mount on the celestial north pole and then track your telescope comfortably by motor control - also ideally suited for entry into astrophotography! The mount weighs 7.4Kg and is much more stable than the simpler EQ-5 mount. Shakes the HEQ-5 Pro GoTo much better and faster away.

Properties of mounting and tracking:

Speeds 2x, 8x, 16x sidereal
Tracking mode: lunar, solar and sidereal
Polsucher

Scope of delivery of the mount:

Mount HEQ-5 Pro GoTo with motors in both axes
SynScan hand control box
stable steel tube stand
coordinated counterweights
additionally stabilizing expansion element with eyepiece shelf
