All Newtonian telescopes should be adjusted before first use and then periodically for a clear image. We adjust all of our Newton before they leave our house.

The UNC20012 is an excellent planetary telescope:
The "Zero Expansion" primary mirror is comparable to the expander features with Zerodur. Even with extreme temperature differences, this material does not change its extent. The optimal mirror surface and thus the image quality are fully preserved. The secondary mirror has a diameter of only 50mm (small axis) and thus causes a shading of only 25%. The diffraction-limited primary mirror and the shading of just 25% make the UNC20012 a real APO alternative for all star friends who enjoy a superb image on the moon and planets.
