Überprüfung Justage Newton Fangspiegel Hauptspiegel Okularauszug

This telescope is checked by us before delivery and in any case pre-adjusted. The focuser is set.

How do we adjust: "About us"

TS-PHOTON 10 "F5 Advanced Newtonian telescope with metal tube

The PHOTON Newtonian reflector with 254 mm aperture and f / 5 is a versatile telescope for observation and astrophotography.

♦ 254 mm aperture / 1250 mm focal length / F5 aperture ratio

♦ High quality parabolic primary mirror with 94% forced reflection for a brighter and high-contrast image.

♦ Well-dimensioned secondary mirror with 70 mm small axis for observation and astrophotography

♦ Main mirror holder and secondary mirror holder made of metal - no plastic - fully adjustable (illustration of the secondary mirror holder - left).

♦ Precise 2 "Crayford focuser with 1:10 micro reduction for precise focusing - the focuser is already included in the price.

♦ Main mirror fan for cooling up to 50% faster.

♦ Stable steel tube instead of soft aluminum tube - ensures better adjustment stability.

♦ Practical adjustment aid on the main mirror - central marking.

♦ Focus position prepared for observation with all common eyepieces and for astrophotography.

♦ Pipe clamps, 8x50 viewfinder and 35 mm extension included for observation.

TS-PHOTON 10 "f / 5 Newtonian telescope - for observations and astrophotography
This telescope from the PHOTON series is a real all-rounder and is one of the most powerful telescopes in this price range. Thanks to the versatile aperture ratio of f / 5, the Newton offers the best conditions for moon and planetary observations. The optimized secondary mirror is also designed for deep sky observations and astrophotography.

The 10 "f / 5 PHOTON Newton is well carried by mounts like the Skywatcher EQ6 or the Celestron CGEM. The telescope is still portable, but can also be used very well in observatories.

The advantages of the PHOTON Newton at a glance:

♦ Moderate aperture ratio for short exposure times in astrophotography.
♦ Very good sharpness on the moon and planets
♦ Secondary mirror ensures good illumination e.g. for DSLR cameras
♦ Large back focus enables the use of commercially available coma correctors and cameras
♦ High quality primary mirror made of optical BK7 glass with forced 94% mirroring for a bright, clear image.
♦ Stable 2 "Crayford pull-out with 1:10 reduction and 1.25" reduction
♦ Motor focus can be retrofitted at any time
♦ Cool down faster, watch faster, take photos faster with the fan for the primary mirror
♦ Steel tube and mirror holders made of metal for optimal adjustment stability
♦ Only with TS: carbon tube for retrofitting - for ultimate transport

Why do we recommend a Newton from the Photon series before all other comparable Newtons:

The skin mirrors of the Photon series come from GSO. For years the manufacturer has managed to keep the optical level of the mirrors uniformly high. The Photon Newtonian telescopes are built according to the specifications of Teleskop-Service. The secondary mirror size is optimized, the distances for the focus position are also optimized for observation and photography. But above all, Photon Newtons can adapt to your interests, they can "grow":

♦ We offer a carbon tube kit for each Photon 10 "Newton, where you can continue to use all parts of your Newton.

♦ We offer smaller or larger secondary mirrors, so that you can adapt the Newton to your individual interest, regardless of whether you opt for planetary observation or want to take pictures with a full-frame sensor.

The exact 2 "Crayford focuser with 1:10 micro reduction:
We offer this Newtonian telescope with a 2 "Crayford focuser with integrated 1:10 micro-reduction. This focus works very precisely even with heavy accessories such as astro cameras. With a little experience you can achieve setting accuracies of 0.08 mm, which also sufficient for very high-resolution sensors.

The extract is fully compatible with the optional TS motor focus system. A motor takes over the focusing. This enables absolutely trembling-free and precise focusing for observation and photography.

High quality primary mirror with f / 5 and 94% reflection
This Newton shows its full potential in observation and astrophotography through a high-quality primary mirror made of optical, tension-free BK7 glass. The parabolic primary mirror is mirrored at 94% and therefore offers a brighter and high-contrast image. You can immediately see the difference compared to normal mirroring.

With an aperture ratio of 1: 5, the Newton is one of the all-round telescopes for astrophotography and observation.

No edge shading - full illumination thanks to the large 70 mm secondary mirror
No shadow on the edge, even with modern DSLR or CCD cameras you will be happy about a bright picture with full illumination. But also 2 "large field eyepieces are supplied with light up to the edge.

More enjoyment of the picture through optimal field correction - consulting service
Only a good coma corrector turns this Newtonian into a real astrograph. Our recommendation is the TSGPU corrector, which is made for this telescope. It will offer you maximum sharpness in the entire field, only with the TSGPU (see accessories recommendations) will this Newtonian become a real astrograph.

Astrophotography with DSLR cameras:
♦ TSGPU coma corrector
♦ SKM48 -... Matching T-ring on the camera bayonet
... and you are at an optimal distance and have sharp stars in the entire field of vision. The tracking control can be carried out via the viewfinder or via a small guide tube that fits into the viewfinder holder.

Astrophotography with the ZWO ASI 1600 camera
The highly sensitive camera and the fast Newton with the TSGPU corrector are an optimal team for astrophotography. The stars are sharp right up to the edge. The adaptation from the corrector to the camera is simple, we would be happy to advise you.

The advantage - after only 40 seconds you have galaxies, nebulae and star clusters on the sensor. Longer exposure times are not necessary, a tracking control is not necessary. Just let the well-arranged mount run and wonderful astrophotographs are created almost by themselves. The high f / 5 light intensity of the Newtonian and the extremely fast sensor of the camera make it possible.
