The Newtonian reflector with 130mm aperture and excellent light output is ideal for observing faint nebulae and star clutters, especially for beginners who want to start the astronomical life with a large aperture with excellent light output. It is equipped with a motor for tracking.

AP-SM Equatorial Mount
The Advanced Polaris Mount is ideally suited for beginners who want to become familiar with equatorial mounts, or for experienced observers who just want a grab and go mount. The AP mount holds your optical telescope tube securely and comfortably. With its friction control system, the mount can be moved quickly to your target object. A wide range of optional accessories are available for the AP mount to meet your observing needs.

R.A. Motor Module and STAR BOOK ONE Set
The AP-SM equatorial mount comes with the R.A. motor module and the STAR BOOK ONE set (main motor of the AP equatorial mount for tracking celestial objects), which includes the STAR BOOK ONE controller. The R.A. motor module and the STAR BOOK ONE set is an integral part of the AP system. Your own system is created based on the R.A. Motor Module and STAR BOOK ONE Set by adding additional modules.

Stylish design
The new stylish and elegant design removes a bad image on astronomical telescopes. Together with the housing weighing only 3.6 kg (without counterweight), you can easily operate full-size astronomical telescopes. Since the four AA batteries for power supply are integrated inside the housing and by using internal electrical contacts, external wiring, which was successfully routed to the outside in the past, is avoided.

Friction control system
Align targets simply by moving the optical tube with your hands. The friction control system allows you to manually aim the telescope at the object without using knobs and clamps.

Easy polar alignment
The optional polarimeter can be attached to the equatorial mount for easy polar alignment. Even novice users can quickly align the polar axis. The polar axis scope is usually used for precise alignment, but the polar meter can perform better, especially where Polaris is not visible. CAUTION: POLAR METER NOT INCLUDED IN SCOPE OF SUPPLY

Power supply system with focus on mobility and comfort
The motor module operates on 4 pieces of commercially available AA batteries, which are not only equivalent to alkaline batteries, but also inexpensive rechargeable batteries (Ni-MH, Ni-Cd). For long-term use, a commercially available external power supply such as USB mobile battery or USB power supply can be used, which is connected to the supplied USB Micro-B socket.

APP-TL130 Tripod
