 Celestron telescope AstroMaster 76EQ

The smallest mirror telescope shows you impressive pictures of the moon and planets. Even at high magnifications - typical of mirror telescopes - there is no annoying color error. Double stars and star clusters are also beautiful targets for this telescope. Thanks to the StarPointer red dot finder, you only have to aim at your target and you will see it in the eyepiece. It has a slightly smaller focal length than the 70mm lens telescopes, which means that lower magnifications are possible and you can see a larger field of view in the sky - star clusters in particular are more impressive.

The equatorial mount is specially designed for observing the sky: If you align it on the Polarstern, you only have to adjust the telescope in one axis if you are observing planets at high magnification, for example. This will help you find your destination quickly, even after a short break.

The AstroMaster telescopes

If you are looking for a versatile telescope for both sky and earth observation, then the AstroMaster series is the right choice for you. The 20mm overview eyepiece provides upright, right-sided images.

An AstroMaster not only offers breathtaking views of the moon, of Saturn with its ring, Jupiter with its bands and moons, of nebulae and star clusters. You can also observe the sun's activity with an optional sun filter. If you are less interested in the members of the solar system and more interested in the brighter deep sky objects such as the galaxies and nebulae, we recommend one of the Newtonian reflectors with a larger light-collecting aperture.
