With a 130mm aperture and a superb parabolic primary mirror, the Starquest DX130P Newtonian reflector is a powerful all-rounder for observing the moon, bright planets, nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters.

The new generation Starquest DX mount is a high-quality, lightweight mount that, thanks to its ease of use, is suitable for both beginners and experienced observers. Once aligned to Polaris, the mount allows for easy tracking of celestial objects using the flexible shafts. The mount offers a maximum payload of 5 kg and comes on a sturdy, height-adjustable stainless steel tripod for maximum stability. The mount is equipped with 360° drives in the right ascension and declination axes. An optional DC motor drive (No. 20940) can be attached to the right ascension axis for automatic tracking. The set includes a smartphone adapter for those first attempts at photographing the night sky.
