The Powerseeker 80 EQ makes the start into astronomy at a really high level. The multi-compensated optics show the finest details on the lunar surface. Not only the well-known craters, but also mountains, grooves and cracks in the lunar surface are visible. Observe the planets of the solar system up to the distant Uranus and on some planets you can even see first details.

80mm opening show you thousands of heavenly objects beyond the solar system with many details. The bright gas nebulas are even imaged with first structures. Take a look at the objects of our Milky Way and let yourself be inspired by needle-shaped stars, the precisely manufactured look makes it possible.

The parallactic mount CG1: The system mount EQ1 just keeps the telescope with a certain stability. It is supplied with shafts for a manual fine adjustment. This allows you to center the target in the sky or on the Earth in the center of the target. The height-adjustable aluminum tripod is part of the mount.

Observing targets on Earth: The Powerseeker 80 EQ is already fit for Earth observation. Use a small viewfinder to view a remote target, a tree, a bird, or a mountain peak, and then fetch the target with the supplied eyepieces. The cleanly made optics will show you many details that you could not recognize with the naked eye.

Photography by the Powerseeker 80 EQ: Yes, even that is possible, the telescope is already supplied with a T2 connection (photo direct connection), with which you can attach your SLR camera or digital camera to the Powerseeker and successfully take pictures. We offer suitable connecting adapters under "recommended accessories".
