The most striking feature of this device is of course the "size". The refractor actually has space in almost every photo bag. The mount and tripod can also be dismantled into compact individual parts so that the refractor is a real travel device.

Watch with the BKR 80 / 400mm:
The refractor is a large field device. Observe vast regions in our Milky Way. The 25mm wide angle RK eyepiece is suitable for this purpose. Observe how the diffuse clouds in space through the refractor reveal their true nature and observe a myriad of fine little stars through the refractor.

But also on the earth the refractor shows quite a lot. The overview magnification is optimal for the overview with very good picture brightness. And if you like a more distant subject, just use the 10mm eyepiece and "pull" the object. With the supplied Barlow lens, you can double the magnification again, for the finest details.

In the sky the refractor makes a good figure. Watch double stars or even the ring fog in the lyre, a remnant of a star explosion, as a fine smoke ring.

Particularly versatile:

The refractor provides a wealth of possibilities, both visually and in photography. With the appropriate eyepieces, you will be able to enlarge up to 120 times, with good sharpness. The robust metal extension allows a clean sharpness adjustment.
Astro, animal and landscape photography:
In addition, the 804 is a 400mm telephoto f / 5. There are very nice Astro animal and landscape recordings possible. Thanks to the T2 thread, the adaptation of photoelectronics is very simple. You only need a T2 ring (see "Accessories"). Especially for recordings with digital cameras, the device is very suitable, because the focal length is very short and one receives a beautiful large facial field. Due to the high light intensity it is also possible to use with twilight values!

Eyepiece retractor - made of metal
The eyepiece has 1.25 "(1.25") and is very even, without wiggling, has a fixation screw for heavy accessories, and has a T-2 thread for easy attachment to your camera.

The EQ1 mount:
Included in the delivery is the EQ1 field mount, which carries the telescope well and is nevertheless very compact. The mount offers nevertheless nevertheless all possibilities, which one is accustomed from a "large". It has a manual fine adjustment in both axes, with which you can center the objects very well or even moving objects can follow. The height-adjustable stand adapts ideally to the desired observation height.

The mount can even be equipped with a motorized tracking, so that the sky objects always remain in the center, which is pleasant for observation and important for the astrophotography (see "Accessories")
