The TS Optics Starscope 806 is a powerful refractor with 80 mm aperture.
The compact telescope is well held by small parallactic mounts, but also by azimuthal mounts and photo tripods. The refracting telescope can be used universally, for example as:

♦ compact travel telescope for bird watching, nature observation and of course astronomy.

♦ telephoto lens for photography - camera connection via T2

♦ Guiding telescope for astrophotography.

Although the optics is very good, you notice its construction as a double-lens achromat. To reduce the chromatic aberration that becomes visible at high magnifications on brighter objects, we recommend a suitable filter such as the Baader Fringe Killer or even the Contrast Booster.

Practical tip from Teleskop Service - observing through this telescope:
To focus the telescope, you will need a 1.25" extension sleeve, a 1.25" zenith mirror or a 1.25" amiciprism (see accessory recommendations).

We recommend a zenith mirror for astronomical observations, it straightens the image and provides a comfortable view.

For daytime observation, a zenith mirror or an amiciprism can also be used. An amiciprism (90° or 45° viewing angle) also straightens the image and additionally displays it laterally correct, like binoculars.
