Telescope Omegon AC 90/1000 Refractor on EQ-2 with accessories

The Omegon 90 / 1000mm belongs to the refractors (lens telescope) and offers a sensible entry into exciting observations of the starry sky. Optics and mounting are of solid quality and the ratio of opening to focal length (f11,1) allows for contrasting observations. Earth and moon observations, as well as detailed planetary observations, are available. It is also worth looking at even brighter deep-sky objects such as the Orion nebula, the two-lane cluster (h & chi) in the Perseus or our neighboring galaxy Andromeda.

The 2 lenses of the refractor are combined to form an achromatic objective and thus eliminate unwanted chromatic aberrations to produce a contrast-rich image. The long focal length almost corrects the spherical aberration, so that sharpness and detail richness belong to the characteristics of the telescope. A residual color error remains, but only to a small extent.

The telescope is supplied with an EQ2 mount, with (manual) fine adjustment and a corresponding counterweight, for the optimal balance of the optics. The corresponding aluminum tripod is height-adjustable and can be adapted to different body sizes and / or "grows" so to speak.

The equipment with attached piggy-back adapter for mounting a camera, allows all first attempts in astrophotography.
