High-quality premium ED glass: Triplet optics with air gap for high contrast
The Omegon Triplet Apochromat impresses with its exceptionally good workmanship. Precisely fitting lens mounts as well as high-quality premium ED glass contribute to the extraordinary quality of this telescope.

Compared to the double-lens ED optics, the color fringing has been significantly reduced and is only detectable in the measurable range. The fully coated optics provide a brilliant image sharpness and a dreamlike contrast, which is only known from much more expensive apochromats.



Adjustable lens cell
The wish of many customers was to have the possibility to adjust the apochromat. Omegon has now turned this into reality and developed an adjustable lens cell. With three adjustment and fixing screws each and a normal hexagonal wrench, you can collimate your apo at any time. Just in case!



Precise focusing: 2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 fine gear
Only an exact focus leads to successful observation! For this reason, the Crayford focuser can be moved extremely smoothly. With the 1:10 reduction you can easily find the right focus point even at high magnifications.

Advantage for astrophotographers: Once you have focused your object, you can fix the focuser via a lock screw.



Suitable for binoculars
A binocular offers fantastic observations with both eyes, because with two eyes you observe relaxed and the objects look more vivid. The tube has therefore been shortened to make it easier and better for you to focus with a binocular and a standard path corrector. And even with a zenith mirror, which requires a long focus path.



Tube clamps and carrying handle
Convenient handling is an invaluable advantage. The two metal tube clamps are connected with a carrying handle. So you always have your valuable tube safely in your hand. The prism rail at the bottom of the tube clamps, now has a reinforced steel plate. This protects the mounting rail from scratches or deep nicks and guarantees a much longer durability.



Finder shoe
Pick your finder scope. Almost all commercially available finder scopes now fit on the finder base (in Vixenstyle).
