TS-Optics RFT 152mm f / 5.9 large field refractor with 2.5 "RPA focuser
The TS 6 "refractor is the ultimate refractor telescope for large field observations and narrow band photography.
When observing nebulae and star clusters, the refractor offers a contrast performance that is otherwise only known from APO refractors. In addition, the refractor is also a real cometary telescope.
♦ High quality 152mm f / 5.9 lens with improved correction of the chromatic aberration
♦ Large 2.5 "rack pull-out with stable ball bearings for heavy accessories
♦ Also suitable for observing the moon and planets, we offer filters to reduce the chromatic aberration
♦ The lens is fully adjustable and is stored in a temperature-compensated mount. It's one of the best achromatic lenses we know.
♦ Retractable dew cap and thus a transport length of only 760mm
♦ CNC pipe clamps with practical handle
♦ Also suitable for astrophotography with narrow band nebula filters and of course moon / planets.
The TS RFT-152mm f / 5.9 rich field refractor telescope
This refractor is a great alternative to regular achromatic lenses. The refractor offers features that are normally not found in this class.
♦ One of the best objectives with a better color corrector than a comparable achromat. In Japan this refractor is even sold as a half apo under the name Nerius. The glasses of the 2-element lens are K9 and F4.
♦ A 2.5 "pinion focuser with many auxiliary threads, which even enables the adaptation of the TS 3" full format corrector.
♦ The refractor is still transportable. Thanks to the retractable dew cap, the telescope has a transport length of only 760mm and thus space on every back seat.
The areas of application of the TS 152mm refractor:
♦ Moon and planets ... With suitable filters you can increase the contrast and sharpness even more.
♦ Observation of nebulae, star clusters and galaxies ... The great strength of the refractor is the large field observation. In this area of application, contrast and sharpness are comparable to those of an APO.
♦ Deep Sky Astrophotography ... You can do that with this refractor too. We offer suitable field correctors. However, we recommend filters that reduce the chromatic aberration, such as narrow band filters or H-alpha filters.
The 152mm f / 5.9 lens of the TS refractor
Many astronomers are surprised when they first observe through this refractor. The color error, which is shown as a blue border around bright stars or moon craters, can hardly be seen.
K9 and F4 are used as glass material. The lens is very precisely manufactured, so that the image hardly shows any color errors even at high magnifications.
Of course, both lenses have broadband multi-coating on the surfaces. The lens is mounted in an adjustable and temperature-compensated aluminum cell.
The 2.5 "rack and pinion focuser with many options:
A powerful refractor makes no sense without a properly dimensioned focuser. A 2 "extension would inevitably cause shadowing at the edge, as the relatively narrow extension tube shadows the beam path.
The 2.5 "extension of the TS 6" refractor has a large free internal passage with an adjustment range of 100mm. A 1:11 micro reduction is available for sensitive focusing.
You can also attach screw adapters for astrophotography via the M63 internal thread. You can find suitable adapters in the accessories section. 2 "Accessories are clamped perfectly on the optical axis" almost as if screwed "by an effective ring clamp.
