A smart telescope combines modern telescope technology and sensor technology in an easy-to-use system.
Capture breathtaking views of the universe in no time at all!
Capturing nebulae and galaxies doesn’t have to be complicated or tedious: with its built-in 12.5-megapixel camera and innovative technologies, Vespera Pro offers an all-in-one solution that gets you started in astrophotography. Whether you’re new to the hobby or an experienced astrophotographer, Vespera Pro offers everything you need. Capture stunning images right from the start, make faster progress and showcase your results.
Ultra-high-resolution images
With its 12.5 MP sensor (3536 x 3536 Pixels) and exclusive Live Panorama mode, the Vespera Pro lets you effortlessly capture colour images.
Vaonis’ CovalENS feature allows you to capture multiple images of adjacent areas of the sky and then stitch them together into a larger image. CovalENS uses advanced algorithms to align the images and remove distortion. This feature enables you to capture breathtaking views of the cosmos that would otherwise be impossible.
Field of view (telescope + sensor): 1.6° x 1.6°, plus 3.2° x 3.2° with CovalENS.
An internal memory of 225 GB is available for the images. Data can be transferred via both Wi-Fi and USB-C.
No specialist knowledge required
Vespera Pro simplifies astrophotography through automatic alignment, tracking and focusing, combined with advanced image enhancement (known as stacking). You can set everything up in just a few minutes and get started straight away. With automatic live mosaic imaging, you are no longer limited by the telescope’s physical field of view. You can capture a wider variety of celestial objects and explore new possibilities for image composition. With its high-resolution sensor and live Panorama imaging, Vespera Pro is the world’s most versatile smart telescope.
First-class optics
The Vespera Pro II features a Petzval-style apochromatic quadruplet design, meaning it already has a built-in corrector. This design has proven itself in high-quality, short-focus apochromats for astrophotography and is now being used in a smart telescope. It produces a flat focal plane (flat field) whilst providing excellent correction of the lens-typical colour aberration (chromatic aberration, Strehl: 0.87).
A hygrometer is also pre-installed, which activates the anti-fog system when a certain temperature and humidity threshold is reached. This means you do not need a dew shield to prevent the optics from fogging up.
The package also includes an adjustable tripod with an integrated spirit level, a USB-C port and a lens cap.
The built-in rechargeable battery allows for up to 11 hours of observation, with an ambient temperature between 0° and 40° Celsius recommended.
LumENS, the AI-powered companion!
LumENS is now available free of charge for all Vespera users and allows users to interact with their telescope like never before.
This AI answers astronomical questions, explains celestial objects currently being observed, and provides up-to-date astro knowledge in real time. The AI can be addressed by voice or keyboard. Voice input currently works in English and French, while keyboard chat works in all preset languages.
This update is a big step towards making astronomy accessible to everyone and entertaining even users with prior knowledge!
The manufacturer, Vaonis, offers a 5-year warranty! This demonstrates the manufacturer’s exceptional confidence in the quality of the product.
