A high-brightness coma-free telescopes for self-assembly on existing mounts

The optics of the LX850ACF series are also available separately! This is the same tube as the well-known LX850ACF series. Rear connection via standard SC thread.
The OTA comes with a 3 "(Losmandy) rail on the bottom and a GP prism clamp at the top, and the LX850 has higher light output (f8) for faster astrophotography exposure.

Fast f / 8 Advanced Coma Free (ACF) optics.
The optics have been completely redesigned, and now have, in contrast to the proven f / 10 optics, a new main mirror mount and an internal, non-shifting focuser with 1: 7 reduction. Even the faster f / 8 optics convinced with very good star mapping over the entire field, as you are accustomed to an ACF optics. The higher luminous intensity is particularly useful for photographic applications, but also gives a larger achievable true field of vision in the sky. The optional f / 5 focal length reducer allows you to take deep shots at a fraction of the shutter speed.

Internal, 7: 1 Crayford-style focuser.
The completely newly developed mirror mount allows non-shifting and sensitive focusing while dispensing with primary mirror fixation. Nevertheless, the main mirror is held precisely, even when panning from horizon to horizon.
