The C-6 is a powerful yet compact Cassegrain look. Celestron has closed a relatively large gap with the optics and created a compact but very powerful system. Even 2 "accessories can be used with the NexStar 6SE, making the device even a full-field instrument.

XLT coating: Thanks to this multilayer anti-reflection coating, the Celestron lenses have a particularly high light transmission. In the particularly important wavelength range around 500nm up to 10% more light is brought into the eyepiece. Especially here, the human eye is also very sensitive.
The focus: It is done by adjusting the main mirror on a large grippy knurled head. This kind of focusing brings very great benefits. The adaptation of different accessories is not a problem. Whether you want to take pictures (see picture) or connect a binocular, you will never have problems with focusing. Almost every accessory has its focus with the NexStar 4.
Ingenious help for the exact arrangement of astrophotography:
- Wedge-Align - in parallactic mode - no Polsucher needed!

The pile height cradle is optional: In contrast to the smaller units of the SE series, the pile height cradle is not built into the stand, this has to do with the stability. A pile height cradle only makes sense for use in the field of astrophotography - long-term exposure. For all other ranges, also for exposures up to approx. 30 seconds, the azimuthal assembly is sufficient.
