TS 4.5" f/12 Cassegrain telescope from Guan Sheng Optics
Cassegrain telescopes combine the advantages of a Newtonian telescope with a short design. They are pure reflecting telescopes without correction plates or lenses in the beam path. This compact telescope weighing 2.17 kg is very well supported by portable astronomical mounts, but also by photo tripods. The Cassegrain telescope is also suitable for air travel. The contrast of the image is very high and the well-lit image field means that it can be used universally at night and also during the day. A powerful 2" Crayford focuser with micro reduction also offers all mechanical options.
 
Areas of application for the 4.5" Cassegrain
The telescope is ideal for mobile use. It fits into compact transport bags and can be set up and ready for use within just a few minutes. We particularly recommend the telescope for:

♦ Daytime observation, the telescope will provide good contrast even when the sun is shining.
