Telescope Starscope 130 / 650mm Newton on EQ3-1 mounting with accessories

The Starscope 130/650 is a very bright Newton mirror telescope, whose name and inventor was Isaak Newton. A 300-year-proven design, which is just perfect for beginner and adolescents, a very original form of technical sky observation.

Newton telescopes are particularly popular because they have more light output in the same price class as their louvres, for example lens telescopes (refractors).

This Starscope 130/650 is also suitable for bright deep-sky objects for both beautiful moon and planet observations (like the atmospheric bands of Jupiter), as well as through its 130mm aperture and short focal length of 650mm (f5). The Orion Nebula, Andromeda Galaxy or the open star cluster M13. The optical viewfinder with crosshair facilitates finding and tracking of objects of the sky.

The EQ3-1 mounting with (manual) fine adjustment has a counterbalance for balancing the optics. The aluminum tripod is height-adjustable and can be adapted to different body sizes and / or "grows" so to speak.

Product advantages:

+ Ideal for larger children (from about 12 years) and beginners
+ Suitable for moon and planet observation and
   Bright deep-sky objects
+ Larger opening compared to refractors in the same price class
+ Including lunar filter; For contrast and protection of the eyes
+ Fine adjustment facilitates on-and-off tracking
(Compensation of the earth rotation) of objects
+ Tripod height adjustable
+ Cheap in the purchase

Note:

- Light weakness Deep-sky objects show little depth of field
- Not suitable for astrophotography.
- For landscape surveys, we recommend a refractor in this price category.
- Field stand required after touch / vibration 4-6 sec. Decay time for
  A "wiggle-free" observation
