Products description
TS-Optics T2 - Tilter - Tilting - tilting mechanism for T2 connection
Tilting mechanism with T2 connection - for individual correction of the image field by tilting
Connection via T2 thread
Only 11mm optical path
Stable metal construction
Easy adjustment without tools using knurled screws
You can unscrew the T2 reversing ring and decide which side you have the T2 external thread on.
TS-Optics T2 tilter and tilt flange
Adjustment of image plane and sensor position
Many astrophotographers know the problem: you focus as well as possible and the sharpness is still not satisfactory in 1-2 corners. The result is a lazy compromise by changing the sharpness setting until the stars appear relatively evenly "sharp" or by simply cutting away the corner.
Some possible causes of this problem:
a slight tilt of the camera sensor (only a few fractions of a millimeter are enough)
a tilting of the focuser
a slight tilt of the field plane of the telescope (very common with Newtonian telescopes)
a tilting of the eyepiece-side accessories when clamping
This is the solution:
With the TS T2 tilter you can easily adapt the camera chip to the field of the telescope, regardless of where the cause of the tilt comes from. You then only have to always maintain the orientation of the entire adapter, correctors and camera.
The adjustment is done using knurled screws, which is easy and avoids the loss of tools.
Diameter: 78mm
Connection: T2 internal thread on both sides
Height: 11mm without the T2-T2 adapter
T2 thread reversal: reverses the T2 internal thread into an external thread on one side
Adjustment: Via knurled screws
Tilting flange
T2 thread reversal - turns an internal thread into an external thread
