Dew cap Skywatcher Explorer 150PDS

We developed this dew cap for you, because we were looking for a practical solution. It should be light, dimensionally stable and safe. After an observation night with a flexible exchange protection cap, which brought more frustration than observation joy, the idea was implemented.



Advantages of the Teelskopp-spezialisten dew cap:

• dimensionally stable, does not wobble like flexible exchange caps
• light (only approx. 300 g)
• Collecting channel for any condensation that may form, with drainage holes to the outside. So no condensation water can get into the telescope
• exact fit (incl. plastic fixing screws - plug & forget)

The dew cap is printed in one piece for a perfect fit. This allows a very light and stable design. It is simply pushed onto the front opening of the telescope and fixed with the three plastic screws if required. We ourselves have not needed this additional fixation yet, but we want to provide the highest possible security. The plastic screws prevent damage to the surface of the telescope.

We are especially proud of the dew collection channel on the inside. This allows any condensation that may form to be collected and drain to the outside through its own openings. With this design, no water can get into the telescope or onto the optics.
