Sometimes black and white is simply not enough color for a telescope with which you can discover so many exciting things.

We have a solution: repainting.
We conducted a test and had a customer repaint their telescope at their request.

We are often asked whether we also have telescopes in other colors in our range. Because telescopes are mainly white or black.

However, it's no problem to paint the tube and the attachments in a different color. Individual parts of the telescope can also be painted in a different color than the tube. Screws and small parts are anodized. We had this telescope painted matte black for an astronomer.

Matte colors are ideal here because they hardly reflect. For a solar telescope, we would also use a reflective paint because then the tube heats up less. To do this, the telescope is disassembled into its individual parts, cleaned of dust and grease, and taken to a reputable painter in Munich. Seven days later, we can pick everything up and reassemble it.
... The focuser tube is also always blackened at this time. It's either blackboard paint or Berger anti-reflective paint. Otherwise, SkyWatcher's internal blackening is perfectly adequate.

Admittedly, it's quite a lot of work and anything but standard—but if you want something special...
