The Sony IMX715 colour sensor offers extremely high resolution and is optimized for lunar and planetary photography without Barlow lens directly in the focus of the telescope.

ToupTek TS715 mini color astro camera and autoguider

The camera is equipped with a modern 1/2.8" sensor. The new SONY STARVIS and Exmor-R technology produces very low-noise images with high sensitivity. Added to this is a very high resolution thanks to particularly small 1.45 µm pixels. The result is a very versatile camera that delivers excellent results for a wide range of requirements. Among other things, the camera is well suited for:

Lunar and planetary photography, the extremely small pixels allow you to create high-resolution images of the moon and planets without extending the focal length, e.g. with a Barlow lens.

Solar photography with a suitable filter - 320 mm focal length shows the sun (or moon) completely

EAA (Electronically Assisted Astronomy) of these objects through a suitable frame rate

Autoguiding - a guide star is always found, here too the guiding accuracy is particularly high due to the 1.45 µm pixels

Deep-sky photography, the high sensitivity of the sensor enables the capture of nebulae and galaxies with short exposure times, especially high-resolution images of bright objects, such as the center of M42 or the Hourglass Nebula or compact bright planetary nebulae are easily possible with this camera.

The practical 1.25" body:
The camera is supplied in a compact 1.25" housing. This makes it easy to connect to the telescope. The camera is inserted into the focuser like an eyepiece and focused. You can start astrophotography immediately. In addition, the housing is equipped with a female C-mount thread on the telescope side. This allows you to screw the camera to the telescope or a camera lens.
