TS 294MC color astro camera of the latest generation The camera with the powerful Sony IMX294 sensor enables astrophotography at a very high level. This modern sensor can be used for all areas of astrophotography. The 4.3 µm pixels of the ZWO ASI294MC make this camera an all-rounder with the highest sensitivity for short exposure times.
Another advantage is the sensational light sensitivity. The QE of 80% thanks to the BACK ILLUMINATION technology already enables deep astrophotographs with short exposure times. This makes the camera very suitable for deep sky photography.
The "single-shot" color camera offers more convenience than monochrome cameras. Not everyone wants to use the complex L-RGB process for beautiful colored nebula images or planetary images. The color cameras give you the opportunity to get nice pictures without changing the filter. In a direct comparison to the DSLR camera, however, the color camera convinces with a much higher light sensitivity, a smoother image and significantly more depth. Stars don't burn out that quickly.
