TS-Optics Universal tracking set TSL60-AG for astrophotography
Telescope Service offers you a complete set, consisting of a compact guide scope with a large (60 mm) opening and a powerful autoguiding camera, for long exposures with your telescope. This complete solution is easy to install and enables active tracking control, also known as autoguiding. We recommend the set for guiding large camera lenses and telescopes up to 12" aperture.

Connecting to your telescope is incredibly easy. You don't need an elaborate piggyback construction because the mini guidescope fits directly into the finder shoe of your telescope. Simply take out the viewfinder and put in the guide scope and you're ready to go. If you do not want to remove your viewfinder or do not have a standard viewfinder shoe, we offer suitable viewfinder shoes in the accessories section, for example for adapting to a pipe clamp.

The TSL60-AG is very suitable for guiding telephoto lenses. With the Guidemount we offer you a compact and, above all, lightweight mounting option for your camera with lens and, in parallel, for the TS tracking set TSL60-AG. This gives you ultra-mobile astrophotography equipment that can be carried by small mounts and is also ideal for air travel.

Connecting the autoguider to the guide scope The focus of the guider is between 9mm and 19mm behind the 1.25" connection. The sensor would therefore be too far inside. We simply recommend a good 1.25" adapter that is connected to the T2 thread is screwed. Suitable adapters are linked. The camera can then be easily mounted without any focus problems.

The included ASI120MINI comes with a 1.25" extension. This can also be used to focus well. The extension should be turned out completely. However, you should not push the camera in all the way.

Before the first tracking use, please install the camera driver and any autoguider software on your Windows computer or laptop. The autoguider software is not included. The camera is suitable for, among others, PHD Guiding, Guidedog, Metaguide, Guidemaster (freeware) or AstroArt, MaxIm DL (chargeable).

A tip: With ASIAIR, the ASI120Mini and your smartphone become a fine autoguider that also works without a computer, with higher sensitivity and resolution than the previous "stand-alone" autoguiders... for really little money.
 
Step by step to perfect autoguiding:
 Attach the tracking set to the main tube using the prism clamp or a double fastening (see accessory recommendations).
 Connect the tracking camera to the mount. Use your mount's ST-4 autoguider socket.
 Connect the tracking camera to your Windows computer.
 Focus the camera with the focuser - and you can start astrophotography.
 
The ZWO ASI120MM mini astro camera is more than just an autoguider.
The camera can also be used to take photos of the moon and planets and even brighter deep sky objects. You can simply attach the camera to your telescope like a 1.25" eyepiece, focus and get started straight away.
