The TTS160 mount has been designed for maximum portability and comfort. Pillar and mounting head fit into two small carrying bags.

All of the technology and sensitive parts are sealed in smooth anodized aluminum cylinders that keep out dirt, dust and moisture.

♦ The TTS-160 mount allows simple one- or two-star calibration - time, date, geographic coordinates, pole alignment, or GPS are not needed.
♦ Set the mount to one or two bright stars and the alignment is complete after a few simple steps. They are now ready to follow the movement of the stars and take pictures.
♦ The calibration also generates the data for the correct control of the telescope rotor.

The TTS-160 Telescope Mount accurately tracks the stars to make beautiful images of the sky without tracking.

This unit integrates completely into the mounting control system, eliminating the need for additional power supplies or computers. It rotates the entire telescope tube, allowing for piggy-back use of tailpipes or taking pictures through piggy-backed telephoto lenses.

You can observe and record objects without interruption from east to west.

Unlike German mounts, which you have to change during the meridional passage, the TTS 160 Panther mount can track the stars from east to west, allowing for uninterrupted recording.

The TTS-160 Panther is modular and thus flexible.
Use it with the TelescoperOTAtor for photography or without it for visual observation, with the collapsible standard column for refractors and short-building Newtons, or the mini-column for long newton telescopes. You can also exchange the weights to use heavier telescopes.
