EVOSTAR ED refractors provide very good performance in almost all areas of observation and photography. The quality of the picture in its class is unmatched. The Ohara FLP53 lens reduces color errors to a minimum. The tried and tested, high - quality SCHOTT glasses are a component of the lens system. The result is absolutely sharp and contrasting observations and photographs. The ED glasses (ED means "Extra low dispersion") have an extremely low color dispersion and a low refractive index.
An even better contrast is achieved by the use of the integrated Kronglas of the brand Schott. By means of metallic high transmission coating on the lens surface a higher light transmission is achieved. The stars appear wonderfully vivid, the figure reaches the level of the needle-point-fine stars.
