High-quality screw-in polar finder

A polar finder makes it easier to classify the mount. Within a few minutes you can achieve a positioning accuracy that even makes astrophotography possible. All you need is a clear view of the Polar Star.

The PolGP polar finder is simply screwed into the rear end of the mount. This makes the PolGP a high-quality yet inexpensive alternative to often overpriced original parts.

The polar finder fits the following mounts, among others:

You don't need to worry about any partial circles.

Rotate the hour axis of the mount until the position of the Big Dipper or Cassiopeia (one of the two constellations is always visible) matches the real position of the constellations.

Then center the Polar Star in the marking provided using the pole height and azimuth fine adjustment of your mount... done - you have just aligned your mount to the north.
