TS Optics PHOTOLINE 115mm f / 6.95 triplet apo refractor telescope
The PHOTOLINE Triplet-Apo of telescope service provides the star friends with a picture, which until now are only used by much more expensive apochromats. The color defect could be pressed by the cleanly manufactured lens to a no more disturbing minimum. The correction is significantly better than that of comparable ED devices.

The lens is not cemented, but with air gap. Of course, the lens is adjustable. We compared the imaging performance and the field sharpness with a similar device with an aperture of 110 mm and have concluded that the visual and photographic performance is much better.

Astrophotography with the PHOTOLINE 115 mm APO:

The Apo is ideally suited for astrophotography. The light-fast opening ratio allows for short exposure times and high resolution. Both large fog regions as well as small galaxies or planetary nebulae can be photographed very well with Apo.


We recommend three correctors for the 115 mm PHOTOLINE APO:

TSFLAT2 - Universal corrector without changing the focal length. The corrector is simply plugged into the 2 "plug-in socket, and the distance between the M48 thread and the camera sensor is 111 mm, and the corrector is ideal for DSLR cameras and CCD cameras with smaller sensors.

TSFLAT2,5 - The big brother of TSFLAT2. The corrector is designed for full-format sensors. The working distance from the M69 thread to the camera sensor is 91 mm. The adapter M63a-Flat25 is required for adapting the TSFLAT2.5 to the M63 internal thread of the Apo.

TSRED379 - The PHOTOLINE telecompressor reduces the focal length to 632 mm and improves the aperture ratio to light f / 5.53. The working distance from the M48 thread is 55 mm (T-ring and DSLR camera). The adapter M63a-M68i is required to adapt the TSRED379 to the M63 internal thread of the Apo.

Correctors and adapters are of course linked to the accessories.

The APO lens of the PHOTOLINE 115 mm:
The triplet lens is multi-compensated for maximum contrast on any glass-air surface. It is free from tensions in a temperature-compensated socket. The image is free from interfering color errors and allows magnifications up to about 300 times.

Even with bright stars, no blue fringe will interfere with the image impression when using astrophotography.

The lens is manufactured, in this version, for telescope service. The two special lenses (Lanthanglas and FPL51) achieve a very good correction of the chromatic aberration, which in practice is comparable to the correction of an FPL53 triplet lens.

The 2.5 "rack extension
The ball-bearing eyepiece extractor holds accessories up to approx. 5 kg without slipping or tilting. Cameras to full format are fully lit.

♦ The extraction tube is adjusted by means of a gear drive. It is decoupled from bearing via ball bearings. This allows sensitive adjustment even at maximum load.

♦ The extension provides a 360 ° rotation.

♦ The 1: 10 microcomputer provides a more sensitive focus.

♦ The M63x1 female thread on the extension allows screwed adaptations for astrophotography. Matching adapters are available. Of course, a 2 "and 1.25" adapter is included in the price.
