TS-Optics 125mm f/6.24 FPL53 Apo with corrector for astrophotography
The powerful and pure-color Apo is designed for observation and photography. The 3-element corrector is designed specifically for the Apo.

Powerful apo for astrophotography and observation with 125 mm aperture
The 2-element lens with the FPL53 special glass and special lanthanum glass impresses with its pure-colored and particularly high-contrast image. The color correction corresponds to that of an FPL53 triplet, with faster cooling. At only 7.57 kg, the Apochromat is still transportable and is also easy to carry for astrophotography on mounts such as the Celestron AVX or the Skywatcher H-EQ5.
Astrophotography with the 125mm f/6.24 Apo:
With modern CMOS cameras and system cameras, the aperture ratio of 1:6.24 is sufficient to achieve impressive results with moderate exposure times. Cameras up to full format can be used. The focal length of 780 mm makes the Apo the right choice for compact deep sky objects such as planetary nebulae, globular clusters or even high-resolution details in gas nebulae. Nevertheless, a large area of sky can be recorded, especially with APS-C or full-frame sensors. The Apo is therefore a universal photographic telescope. Of course, moon and planetary photography is also possible without the corrector.
A special feature is the spacer between the extension and the tube. If you remove this, the working distance increases to 210 mm, which allows the connection of extreme correctors such as the Riccardi Reducer.

The best mechanics guarantee excellent imaging and success in astrophotography
The Apo has one of the best lenses in its class, but the quality of the sensor can only be achieved through very good mechanics.
♦ Stiffly mounted focuser with Rack&Pinion (pinion) adjustment. The storage is decoupled from the adjustment of the extension tube.
♦ Oversized extension tube with 60 mm free opening for full illumination even in full format.
♦ 1:10 micro reduction for ultra-precise focusing
♦ High-quality CNC tube with inner panels and very good inner blackening - no annoying scattered light
♦ The corrector is screwed directly to the M68x1 internal thread of the focuser; the appropriate adapter is included in the scope of delivery.
♦ The dew cap can be pushed in.
♦ High-quality CNC clamps and a stable GP-level prism rail provide a good grip on the mount.
♦ The pipe clamps each have 3 M6 internal threads on the top for flexible adaptations
♦ The viewfinder shoe is fully assembled.
The visual application - a powerful apo for astronomy
Despite all the love for astrophotography, you often just want to look at the photographic targets in the sky. 125 mm aperture also enables exciting observations and many thousands of deep sky objects can also be visually reached with the Apo. A 2" and 1.25" adapter are included. You simply need a good 2" star diagonal and suitable eyepieces and nothing will stand in the way of your observing pleasure.
