Both visually and also photographically, this selected triplet Apo offers a performance that is otherwise known only from the well-known Russian LZOS lenses. The image is free from annoying color errors and each Apo is tested before shipment on our optical bench and shipped with an individual star test and Ronchitest.

The 3.5 "Starlight Feather Touch eyepiece provides the highest mechanical stiffness and accuracy - ideal for demanding astro-photography tasks. With a 250mm back focus, the APO provides enough space for all the reducers and correctors available on the market.

In addition to the lens, the eyepiece pullout is certainly the heart of the telescope. The Feather Touch provides maximum stiffness and illumination. Correction cameras can also be used with suitable correctors. Adaptation to the APO is done with the original Starlight adapter.

The lens of the TS 150mm f / 6.6 APOs:

The objective of the refractor is crucial for success in astrophotography and observation. The image is free from interfering color errors despite the high light intensity of f / 6.67. This is achieved by the use of three lenses. The lenses are not cemented, which would lead to stress. The cell holds the lenses together with an air gap. This is mechanically more complex, but leads to better results.

In addition, the known FPL-53 of OHARA is used as the ED element. This glass is used with almost all high quality APOs.

Every TS Triplet APO is tested and adjusted on the optical bench - guaranteed:

They do not buy the cat in the sack. Each triplet APO is checked on our optical bench and adjusted before shipment. In addition, you will get an image of the extra- and intrafocal star in autocollimation and a picture of the Ronchi test. This gives you the guarantee of a first-class optical inspection, which is verified by us - without extra charge.
