Askar 70 mm f/4.8 Quintuplet Apochromat
This high-quality air-gap quintuplet SD glass Petzval astrograph is ideal for astrophotography of larger areas with full-frame cameras.

Excellent point-like star imaging:
Air-gapped quintuplet lens with two SD glass lenses. The center star spot has an RMS radius of less than 1.85 µm, and a corner star spot is less than 2.4 µm, indicating superfine star imaging. It also features excellent full-field illumination and MTF data.

Petzval Design:
Integrated self-flattening design supports a 44 mm full-frame image circle without the need for additional field flatteners and without the need for additional working distance calculations. Between 37 mm and 68 mm working distances, users can use the telescope directly for imaging after the OTA is focused.

Integrated Tube Ring:
The tube ring has cutouts to reduce overall weight, and the enlarged hand screws allow the tube ring to be opened and closed without additional tools.

On both sides of the tube clamp, there are two M4 and M6 female threads, suitable for mounting the base or dovetail bar and connecting various accessories. You can even attach an additional tube for photography.

The handle on top of the tube clamp features a multifunctional finderscope shoe for attaching astronomical accessories.

Finder Shoes:
There are two finder shoes on both sides of the focuser, which not only eliminate the need to remove the finderscope when changing position, but also provide additional mounting options for other astronomical accessories.

Retractable Dew Shield:
The dew shield can be retracted and removed when in use. It protects the lens from external and internal light influences and also protects the lens itself.

Speed ​​Reducer:
The 2.5-inch geared rack and pinion focuser is compatible with most motorized focusers on the market. The focusing travel is 32 mm, and the focuser is engraved with high-precision scales. The entire focuser is CNC-machined and features an anti-reflective design and a matte finish on the inside, providing additional measures to eliminate stray light.

360° Rotator:
At the rear of the focuser is a high-precision 360° rotator with a precision scale that allows the user to adjust and save the angle of rotation. It is also equipped with an enlarged locking screw that allows easy clamping even under heavy loads.

High-quality workmanship:
The entire tube of the SQA70 is manufactured using high-quality CNC machining with anodizing and spray-painting of the surface. The top of the handle and the focuser are engraved with exclusive nameplates, indicating the highest quality.

Rear Adapters:
The rear end of the SQA70 is equipped with a variety of adapters, all of which are serrated and ribbed, allowing for easy manual rotation without slipping. The adapters are available in sizes M54x0.75, M48x0.75, and M42x0.75 and can be used to attach various accessories, such as cooled full-frame cameras.
