TS-Optics Boren-Simon 8 "f / 3.6 Power Newton Flat-Field Astrograph

With the Boren-Simon-Powernewton you can achieve deep astro shoots in just one night, where usually many nights would be necessary.
And these pictures show a very good star sharpness without reflexes. Collect enough raw material for a truly final shot of the object in just one night!
The Benefits of the 8 "-f / 3.6-Power Newton:
♦ Short shutter speeds of f / 3.6 - ideal for uncooled DSLR cameras
♦ No color shift at the edge with narrow band fog filters
♦ Higher resolution due to more focal length
♦ Very good field sharpness due to reducer / corrector
♦ High mechanical stiffness through carbontubus
♦ Weight only 7.6 kg - this is still carried well by portable mounts
♦ Back focus 65 mm from the T2 thread - also suitable for off-axis guiding
♦ Illumination and correction up to APS chip format
♦ only 35% obstruction - visually usable
The Benefits of the 8 "f / 3.6 Astrograph over the Celestron Hyperstar System:
♦ The camera is located on the side of the tube, as in the Newton. Thus, neither the shading by the camera nor the waste heat in cooled CCD cameras affects the quality of the image.
♦ The system is open at the front, so it is faster cooled and less prone to dew
♦ The Astrograph offers a greater working distance than the Hyperstar, enabling the use of DSLR cameras or CCD cameras with filter wheels.

The TS UNCN2 V-Power focuser:

A key element of the TS PowerNewtons is the modern TS UNCN2 V-Power focuser. The pullout carries heavy cameras without tilting due to oversized ball bearings and a side guide. Only through this brief extract we were able to optimize the focal position. In spite of the high light intensity, we have a catching mirror of only 70 mm diameter in the small axis, which reduces the contrast-reducing obstruction.

Other features and advantages:

♦ high rigidity with extremely short length
♦ generous back focus of 65 mm - enough space for all common coma correctors and the TS 9 mm Off-Axis Guider
♦ exact 1: 10 micro reduction - so succeed in perfectly focused Astroaufnahmen
♦ Engine focus expandable - with the TSACUMotorfok
Illumination and correction of the 8 "-1: 3.6 astrograph:
The backfocus of the 8 "-f / 3.6-Powernewton is 65 mm.The Kodak KAF8300 sensor is very well illuminated and also well corrected.Even DSLR cameras with APS-C sensors can be used well. With a flat you get the slight Randabschattung good away.

Switch from fast f / 3.6 to high-resolution f / 5 in minutes:
A telescope, two focal lengths - that's also possible with the Boren-Simon astrograph. With the optional TSGPU Aplanatic Coma Corrector you turn the fast f / 3.6 astrograph into a high-resolution astrophotographically corrected Newtonian telescope with the aperture ratio of 1: 5 and 1000 mm focal length.

The conversion takes place within a few minutes and the collimation remains completely intact.
