This telescope is checked by us before delivery and in any case pre-adjusted. The focuser is set.

How do we adjust: "About us"

 TS-PHOTON 10 "f / 4 254mm 1016mm Advanced Newton metal tube telescope

TS-PHOTON 10 "F4 Advanced Newtonian telescope with metal tube

The PHOTON Newtonian reflector with 254 mm aperture and the aperture ratio f / 4 is a bright astrograph for astrophotography and a strong wide field telescope.

♦ 254 mm aperture / 1016 mm focal length / F4 aperture ratio

♦ High quality parabolic primary mirror with 94% mirror coating for a brighter picture.

♦ Large secondary mirror for a well-lit image field - cameras with full format sensors are also suitable.

♦ Precise 2 "MONORAIL focuser for more stability than with conventional Crayford focusers.

♦ Adjustable main and secondary mirror holder made of metal, practical adjustment aid on the main mirror.

♦ Focus position prepared for observation with all common eyepieces and for astrophotography.

♦ Extensive scope of delivery: 8x50 viewfinder, pipe clamps, 2 "extension sleeve for observation, prism rail.

♦ Faster photography and observation through fans for the primary mirror.

TS-PHOTON 254 / 1016mm Advanced Newtonian for astrophotography and observation
Astrophotography is easy for you with this Newton from the TS-PHOTON series. With its aperture ratio of f / 4, this astrograph offers you pure light intensity and therefore short exposure times. Of course, we also offer you the suitable coma corrector with the TS SUPERFLAT. This turns this PHOTON Newton into a very good astrograph.

Dive deep into the world of deep sky observation with the PHOTON 10 "f / 4. The large opening and the forced mirroring of 94% offer unforgettable observations beyond the solar system. Observe exciting details, such as spiral arms in galaxies or fine structures in planetary nebulae.

General information and features of the TS-PHOTON Newtonian telescopes:

♦ Bright parabolic optics with excellent contrast and very good sharpness for planetary observation.
♦ High quality 2 "MONORAIL focuser with 1:10 micro reduction for 2" and 1.25 "accessories.
♦ Focus position ideal for DSLR and other cameras.
♦ All common 1.25 "and 2" eyepieces can be used without any problems.
♦ Brighter picture due to forced 94% mirroring on the main and secondary mirrors.
♦ Motor focus can be retrofitted at any time.
♦ A 0.5 mm thin secondary mirror spider made of stainless steel ensures stability. Astrophotographers will envy you for bright stars because of the delicate and sharp spikes.
♦ The active primary mirror ventilation ensures a much faster cooling.
♦ Adjustable primary mirror mount and secondary mirror mount made entirely of metal.

More fun with astrophotography through optimal field correction
Only a good coma corrector turns this Newtonian into a real astrograph. Our recommendation is the TSGPU corrector, which is made for this telescope. It will offer you maximum sharpness in the entire field, only with the TSGPU does this Newton become a real astrograph.

The working distance from the M48 thread is 55 mm. With a T-ring you are automatically at the right distance for astrophotography with DSLR cameras. We can offer you suitable adaptations for your astro camera at any time as part of our advice.
