Skywatcher Startravel telescope 102 / 500mm (f / 4.9) on AZ-GTE WIFI GOTO mount.

The easily transportable Sky-Watcher Skyhawk 1145PS - AZ-GTe mount was developed to be controlled wirelessly via a smartphone or tablet using the Freeware SynScan app for iOS and Android. The AZ-GTe mount with the built-in WiFi module creates its own WiFi network, so that the mount can be used anywhere, regardless of any other WiFi network. After entering the coordinates in the app and performing a simpler alignment procedure, you are ready to discover the universe using the intuitive touchscreen menus.

The AZ-GTe with the SynScan app represent a fully computer-controlled GoTo control, which allows the telescope to be automatically aligned to every 10,000 objects listed in the app's database.

The Startravel 102 is a 2-element, air gap achromat refractor and very well suited for the "Richfield" observation of comets, star fields, star clusters, nebulae, bright galaxies and planets as well as the moon and the sun (with suitable, safe filters!)
