Eyepieces with standardized 1.25" plug-in tube for wide field of view and high magnification
The 90 mm refractor collects more light than the 70 mm model, so it is not only convincing at moon and planets, but also many deep sky objects are already worth seeing. Since a refractor, unlike the Newtonian reflector telescope, does not require a baffle mirror in the telescope, it collects just as much light as a slightly larger Newtonian.
The parallactic mount is specifically designed for sky observing: If you align it with Polaris, you subsequently only need to track the telescope in one axis when observing planets at high magnification, for example. This allows you to quickly find your target again, even after a short break. While this makes observing more comfortable, the setup is a bit more time consuming, since you have to align the mount and balance the telescope with the included counterweights. But even with the parallactic mount, you don't need any tools, and setup takes only a little longer.
The AstroMaster telescopes
If you're looking for a versatile telescope for both sky and Earth observation, look no further than the AstroMaster series. The Amici prism included with the refracting telescopes provides upright, laterally correct images with any eyepiece.
An AstroMaster not only provides breathtaking views of the moon, Saturn with its ring, Jupiter with its bands and moons, nebulae and star clusters. You can also observe solar activity with an optional solar filter. If you are less interested in the members of the solar system and more interested in the brighter deep sky objects like the galaxies and nebulae, we recommend one of the Newtonian reflectors with larger light gathering aperture.
