Small and lightweight, travel-friendly
The DWARF mini sets new standards for the portability of smart telescopes. Weighing only 840 grams, it is the lightest model yet offers the ease of use and performance you would expect from a modern smart telescope!
Explore the cosmos in minutes. It calibrates automatically, finds your selected objects, and keeps them precisely in focus. Effortlessly capture breathtaking details of lunar craters, distant galaxies, luminous nebulae, and, in wide-angle mode, our Milky Way.
Explore the cosmos in minutes. It calibrates automatically, locates your chosen objects, and keeps them precisely in view. The DWARF mini uses the Makera Sony IMX662 sensor in its telephoto lens:
Format: 1/2.8 inch
Pixel size: 2.9 µm
Resolution: 1920 × 1080 (Full HD / 2 MP)
Exposure time up to 90 seconds
Files are available in the following formats, depending on the operating mode:
Photo: JPG
Video: MP4
Astronomy mode: FITS/TIFF
The DWARF mini features a built-in filter system precisely tailored to typical astrophotography scenarios:
Dark Frame Filter: Automatically captures dark frames to eliminate sensor noise, thermal artifacts, and hot pixels during long exposures—simplifying post-processing and improving image quality.
Astro Filter (430–690 nm transmission): This broadband filter attenuates UV and infrared radiation. It improves contrast and is well-suited for deep-sky objects such as galaxies and star clusters. Dual Narrow-Band Filter (Hα 656.3 nm & O III 500.7 nm): This line filter allows light from hydrogen (Hα) and oxygen (O III) emissions to pass through while blocking interfering light. Ideal for emission nebulae in light-polluted or moonlit environments.
Wide-angle image with OmniVision sensor OS02K10:
3.4 mm lens emission, 6.7 mm focal length
Format: 1/2.8 inch
Pixel size: 2.9 µm
Resolution: 1920 × 1080 (Full HD / 2 MP)
Exposure time up to 30 seconds
Stellar Studio in the accompanying app: The app stacks the individual images to create a single composite image. This method improves the signal-to-noise ratio, allowing even relatively short exposure times to produce impressive results. The app performs automatic star correction, noise reduction, and other detail enhancements.
MegaStack: The app allows you to combine images from multiple nights into a single picture.
The telescope rotates 360° in azimuth and 225° in altitude. Once set up, it can therefore reach any desired point in the sky.
The 64 GB of internal memory allows for long exposure times. Data can be transferred via Wi-Fi or the included USB-C cable. The Wi-Fi range is approximately 15 meters outdoors.
The 7000 mAh battery provides approximately 4 hours of runtime. It can be recharged using the included USB-C cable, which takes about 100 minutes.
The advantages at a glance:
Two telescopes in one: The equivalent focal lengths (based on full-frame equivalent) are 1016 mm and 45 mm.
GoTo, autofocus, and live stacking – watch the image form before your eyes.
Includes a free app as the control center for unforgettable astrophotography adventures. Astrophotography made easy: set up your telescope, launch the app, and start shooting.
Battery life: 4 hours of astrophotography.
