The 9 inch class of the SC comes with an opening of up to 235 mm. In addition to a good mount, this also requires some ambitions of the amateur astronomer. Once set up, the 9 inch SC is a lot of fun in the deep sky and planetary observation area, as it combines light collection power & long focal length to high resolution and good depth of detail.

The Celestron C9s are very popular here.
