TS-Optics ToupTek color camera and autoguider - IMX 327, D=6.46 mm sensor
The GP702000B is a very good autoguider and much more. The modern Sony IMX327 color sensor impresses with its high quantum efficiency, which simplifies the search for guiding stars and ensures short exposure times for planetary images. Another special feature is the extremely high resolution thanks to 2.9 µm pixels. This makes this camera very interesting for astrophotography.
The advantages of the GP702000B as an autoguider
♦ You will always find a guiding star, even with off-axis guiding - guaranteed!
♦ Due to the high resolution, you can easily guide telescopes up to 11" aperture with a 50 mm finder - finder guiding becomes possible.
♦ The practical 1.25" housing makes adaptation easier. Insert the camera into the 1.25" mount, focus and get started.
♦ Short working distance from the leading edge to the chip - so you can get into focus even at close ranges.
♦ With a weight of only 70 grams, the focuser is hardly loaded.
♦ ST4 cable and ST4 port are of course included. Connect the camera directly to the mount's autoguiding port.
The advantages of the GP702000B as an astro camera
♦ High sensitivity sensor combined with high resolution for ultimate lunar and planetary photos.
♦ Colorsensor enables color images without time-consuming editing
♦ The camera fits into any 1.25" focuser. Clamp the camera like an eyepiece, focus and start astrophotography.
♦ Due to the high sensitivity, the GP702000B is also suitable for photography of nebulae and galaxies.
The camera is equipped with a UV/IR cut filter, so you can also shoot landscapes without the color balance suffering.
