ZWO Large off-axis guider
OAG-L is the latest variant of the M68-OAG with a larger prism size of 12*12 mm. The larger free opening provides a larger field of vision when guiding. It is easy to use and suitable for users interested in long focal length photography. To take full advantage of this accessory, ZWO recommends combining it with large format cameras.

Characteristics:
1. Lightweight and high quality, 17.5mm thickness
2. Prism size: 12*12mm
3. The effective translucent opening is 11.7mm*8.3mm.
4. Can be used to connect the main camera and tracking camera at the same time. No guide scope required.
5. Comes with an M48 (5mm) tilt adapter.

Instructions for use:
1. For tracking, the OAG-L can only be used with ASI Mini cameras such as ASI174MM Mini, ASI290MM Mini and ASI120MM Mini.
2. Considering the large prism size, ZWO does not recommend using OAG-L with telescopes whose clear aperture is smaller than M48.
3. However, it is recommended to use it with APS-C cameras (ASI2600) or full-frame cameras (ASI6200/2400), each in combination with a 2" EFW or the 7x36mm EFW. The large free passage supports full-frame cameras without vignetting.
4. If you want to use the OAG-L without a filter wheel, the ZWO-D70-M54F adapter must be used to connect the off-axis guider to the camera and achieve 55 mm back focus. For cooled cameras with smaller sensors than APS-C, a ZWO-T2 Tilter-2 is also required.
5. The main differences between OAG-L and M68 OAG are the prism size and threads. The OAG-L has the internal thread removed so you can use the screws directly to connect to other devices.
6. If the thread of your telescope side is M48, you do not need to remove the M48 tilt adapter supplied with OAG-L. Otherwise, you will need to remove it and use a different tilt adapter on the corresponding thread on your telescope.

The seventh and eighth pictures show how to mount the tilt adapter.

Please note:
When installing the OAG-L into your optical beam path, please make sure that the prism does not block the camera sensor.

You can use the guide screw to adjust the focus length of the tracking camera. Please make sure that the distance from the prism to the main camera and the tracking camera is the same. To get a sure result, it is better to do it during the day as the adjustment at night is very difficult.
