The BKR1025 offers enough light for the successful observation of thousands of star clusters, mists and galaxies. Due to the short design of the tube, the refractor can also be mounted on relatively small mountings or even on photostats. This makes the use as an extremely bright and good telephoto lens also for terrestrial objects and observation.
 
The short focal length and the relatively large opening make the BKR1025 a real large field device for viewing and photographing extended objects beyond our solar system. Admire open clusters of stars, in the midst of thousands of suns of our galaxy, or look at distant stars of the stars like the great Andromeda Nebula with its two companions. Look at these three galaxies in the midst of stars, thanks to the very generous facial. Here, even a spatial impression is given. The galaxy "hovers" so to speak in space.

Tip for higher magnifications:

Naturally, a achromatic refractor of this type has a pronounced color defect. It makes itself as a blue color space around brighter objects, like the moon and planets, noticeable. Up to 100 times the color error is quite moderate and does not bother very much. For higher magnifications we recommend the Baader Fringe Killer. This is a filter that specifically filters out the light areas (wavelengths of the light) where the color error occurs (see accessories). With this filter you can also make beautiful high magnified moon and planet observations. Also for astrophotography (if not recorded in black / white, as in the case of the moon), a color correction by a lens is recommended.
