The camera is equipped with a large 1/1.2" sensor. The SONY Pregius and Exmor technology produces very low-noise images with high sensitivity. The result is a very versatile camera that delivers excellent results for a wide range of requirements. Among other things, the camera is well suited for:

Lunar and planetary photography - locating without Barlow lens, imaging with Barlow lens

Solar photography with a suitable filter - approx. 700 mm focal length show the sun (or moon) completely

Autoguiding - a guide star is always found

Deep-sky photography - the high sensitivity of the sensor allows nebulae and galaxies to be photographed with short exposure times

The practical 1.25" body:
The camera is supplied in a compact 1.25" housing. This makes it easy to connect to the telescope. The camera is inserted into the focuser like an eyepiece and focused. You can start astrophotography immediately. In addition, the housing is equipped with a female C-mount thread on the telescope side. This allows you to screw the camera to the telescope or a camera lens.
