The TS WA 20mm convinces with a particularly pleasant and quiet insight. It is a very nice overview eyepiece for all telescopes and offers a high sharpness performance with all devices, even with very bright Newton telescopes.

The large field of view of 70 ° can be easily surveyed, even if you have glasses on. The generous eye relief and the quiet insight make the eyepiece interesting for binocular applications as well. The field shield of the TS WA 20 is optimized for the typical Bino approaches, such as the TS Bino or the Baader MaxBright Bino. Larger field stops make no sense in these Bino approaches, because it would come to shading.

The TS WA 20mm is suitable for any device with good sharpness performance over the entire field. Due to the high-quality multi-coating and the blackened lens edges, the image brightness and contrast are also right. The eyepiece is just as well suited for lunar and planetary observation as it is for viewing smaller nebulae, galaxies or star clusters at higher magnifications.

The performance of the TS WA eyepieces:

The transmission (light transmission) of the TS WA eyepieces is best seen when held against a white surface. Any color deviation or darkening will be visible immediately. In the case of the TS WA eyepieces, the background remains very bright and relatively neutral in color. That is not self-evident.

Many wide-angle eyepieces reach the apparent field of vision only by an extreme distortion on the edge. The TS WA eyepieces can do without this distortion.
