The Pocket Powerbox Micro is the successor to the Pocket Powerbox
Pocket Powerbox Micro (PPB Micro for short) is suitable for the “grab and go” astrophotographer. The device can deliver up to 10 amps of current, has a sufficient number (4) of 12V outputs, two dew point heating channels, an adjustable voltage output and an environmental sensor to monitor humidity/temperature (dew point).

A powerful MOSFET transistor supplies your valuable devices with "electric juice". It supplies the 4 outputs with power. Can turn ON/OFF all four ports (* together).
Built-in Votmeter
A precise voltmeter measures and displays the input voltage in real time. When the input voltage is more than 14.5V, the power will be cut off immediately to protect your devices.
Built-in ammeter
An ammeter placed behind the DC input shows the total electrical current.
There are also three additional ammeters: one for the 12V outputs and two for the defrost heater channels. This allows you to easily monitor the power consumption of your devices in detail and overall.
Adjustable regulated output
An adjustable regulated output is suitable to power your DSLR/mirrorless camera/or your RPI3/4. You can adjust the voltage to different levels (3, 5, 8, 9, 12 volts). Please note that we offer a wide range of battery couplers for Canon, Nikon, Sony, FUJI cameras
More than 10A total current
The controller is designed to support up to 10 amps of total current.
Standalone operation
Pocket Powerbox Micro can work “out of the box” as a standalone device. Simply connect the cables, set up the "Autodew" functionality and every time you start the device it will recall your settings. So if you don't want to connect a PC every time, you don't have to. It's that simple!
Two outputs with pulse width modulation (PWM))
Two PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) outputs are capable of powering your "thirsty" Dew Heater. No more humidity fogging up your devices and ruining your clear nights. These outputs can be controlled remotely from your laptop using the included software.
Automatic adjustment of the PWM (for heating tapes)
The controller can automatically adjust the power levels of the heating elements by querying the dew point value of the ambient sensor. Simply click "Auto" and let the Pocket Powerbox Micro decide whether it's time to turn on and precisely adjust the level of your dew protection heaters.
Expansion Port (EXT)
The EXT (expansion) port is available for device expansion. This RJ12 socket enables the connection of current and future Pegasus Astro products. Connected devices can be controlled via the standalone Pocket Powerbox software or a special ASCOM driver.
Pocket Powerbox Micro fully supports ASCOM6
In combination with our main program acting as a server, you can use our latest ASCOM 6.3 included drivers to:
Pass on environment settings to supported software (e.g. Sequence Generator Pro / MaximDL) (ASCOM ObservingConditions)
Turn all 12V outputs on or off. (ASCOM switches)
Standalone software
Allows you to fully control the device and get readings from its sensors.
INDI is fully supported
Pocket Powerbox Micro fully supports INDI, bundle it with Stellarmate or any other device that can use INDILib.
LED indicators for power and error conditions
The LED can flash in patterns to warn you of important power problems (e.g. over or under voltage). The light can also be turned off via the software. Our LED is very weak, but if you don't want to have it on, you can turn it off via the software.
Power cables are included in the package
Four DC 2.1mm to DC 2.1mm male power cables (1m) are included in the package.
External environmental sensor
An external temperature and humidity sensor with a one (1) meter cable length is included. Know exactly the environmental conditions at your location. The measurements of temperature, humidity and dew point are displayed in the software.
USB2 port
Connect the device to your laptop/PC and control the Pocket Powerbox Micro using the included software or ASCOM driver
Reverse polarity protection
The Pocket Powerbox Micro is equipped with reverse polarity protection. It will definitely save your night if you accidentally connect the main power supply with the wrong polarity.
Watchdog
A hardware watchdog resets the device if there is no response from the controller for two seconds for any reason. A nice feature in the unlikely event that the controller freezes - when you have a remote observatory and you need to be sure everything is working as expected.
Firmware upgradeable
The device is firmware upgradeable to support future features and bug fixes.

A high-quality, blue anodized aluminum housing in a compact size encloses the controller board. The dimensions are 66mm x 66mm x 24mm). The weight is 80 grams.
