Although the mount itself only weighs 6.2kg, you can mount telescopes weighing up to 20kg on this mount without having to attach a counterweight.

The HEM44's body is constructed from CNC-machined metal, which is not only visually appealing, but also provides a sturdy base that will perform at the highest level for many years to come.

Features like an electronic brake and shutdown memory allow the HEM44 to safely pause and resume a GoTo alignment - even after a sudden power failure (no need to re-align and start from zero). The mount can be controlled either via a Windows PC (via the ASCOM or Commander driver) or MacOs (via a third-party INDI driver), but also mobile via iOptron Commander Lite, SkySafari and a Raspberry Pi.
