We have listened to your wishes: the C925 dew protection cap that snaps into place and with a dew collection channel.

We developed these dew caps for you because we were looking for a practical solution. It should be light, dimensionally stable and safe. After a night of observation with a flexible dew cap, which brought more frustration than joy of observation, the idea was implemented.

 

Advantages of the telescope specialist dew protection cap:

    Dimensionally stable, does not wobble like flexible dew caps
    light (only approx. 300 g)
    Collecting channel for any condensation that may form, with drainage holes to the outside. This means that no condensation water can get into the telescope
    perfect fit (plug & forget)
    The inside is elaborately blackened with anti-reflective paint in several layers

The dew protection cap is printed in one piece with a precise fit. This allows for a very light and stable design. It is simply pushed onto the front opening of the telescope.

We are particularly proud of the dew collection channel on the inside. In this way, any condensation that may form can be collected and drained to the outside through its own openings. With this design, no water can get into the telescope or onto the optics.
