Adapting a filter drawer to the telescope and camera is often a fairly extensive task. And as soon as the camera is changed or a new telescope with different filter sizes is used, the game starts again. With this multifunctional filter drawer, Askar offers a solution for all common telescope and camera connections as well as for all common filter sizes.

The multifunctional filter changer consists of:
 The base element to which the camera-side and telescope-side adapters are connected. This basic element also accommodates the filter holders.
 The filter holders with inserts for all common filter sizes. Three filter holders are supplied: one for 1.25" and 31mm filters, one for 36mm filters and one for 2" and 50mm filters.
 The telescopic-side adapters with M42x0.75 (T2), M48x0.75 and M54x0.75 internal threads
 The camera-side adapters with M42x0.75 (T2), M48x0.75 and M54x0.75 external threads
 Matching screws to fix the unmounted filters are also included.
 
How do I achieve 55 mm working distance:
If you want to integrate an off-axis guider, we recommend the # ASOAGM54. If your camera's normal flange distance is 17.5 mm, you can achieve exactly the 55 mm working distance that many correctors need with the off-axis guider, the # ASFD filter drawer and your camera.

If you want to work without an off-axis guider, you can reach 19.5 mm with suitable extension rings and tuning rings. Below is an example for correctors with an M48x0.75 camera connection and for cameras with a 17.5 mm flange focal length (e.g. cooled ZWO or TS Optics cameras):
